Enhanced KDM Naming Convention Generator

A very helpful feature with little effort KDM supplies is the compilation of several DKDMs for one or more movies in a booking.

This function is useful when multiple language and subtitling of a movie or several different films have to be provided for a festival.

We have introduced an extended description of the KDMs for the KDM-Naming Convention.

Already during the upload of the respective DKDM you have the possibility to choose between your own description or the use of the KDM-Naming.

To use the KDM Naming Convention Generator please proceed as follows:

- "+ Release" (at all possibilities at which releases or DKDMs can be uploaded)
- Select the desired file.
- An advanced (default activated) input option appears to complete the information for the KDM Naming Convention.

If the input option is activated, the fields in KDM Naming Generator marked with * must be selected.

To use your own KDM description, proceed as follows:

- "+ Release" (at all possibilities at which releases or DKDMs can be uploaded)
- Select the desired file. - Disable the KDM Naming Convention Generator.
- The view bar of the KDM file label is released for manual processing.

This bar, however, still contains all the existing automatic placeholders that can be used for automated labeling in KDM manufacturing.
These can be deleted or moved freely. Texts can also be added.

Here is the list of placeholders filled by KDM Studio:
